You make your entrance with a briefcase handcuffed to your wrist. You explain that the CIA has been conducting experiments in ESP, recruiting psychics to spy for the United States and you are one of these psychic spies and, furthermore, you can PROVE IT! You ask a spectator to come up and you swear them to secrecy and then give them the key that unlocks the briefcase from your wrist. You invite the spectator to look inside the briefcase. You take out a black plastic video size case that hold 2 makers and an ungimmicked writing pad. "This is how I was tested by the CIA," you explain and then ask the volunteer to write something of great significance to him that no one else could know: a special date, birthday, wedding, serial number of a bill in their wallet, anything at all. And it will be written privately so that you cannot see what is being written. You then lock the message up inside the briefcase and handcuff the case to your volunteer. WILD you say! It gets better! Once the pad is locked inside the case you can and will reconstruct the special message from across the room and with your back turned.
